Climate change affects everyone but to what degree depends on an individual’s socioeconomic status, with race, class and gender all intersecting to determine what extent a certain group is harmed by climate change. The goal of climate justice is to help all people but targeting those who are affected first. Our climate is changing rapidly and this greatly affects our quality of life and everything from the food we eat to the air we breathe. This simple GIF illustrates the overall understanding of togetherness is encouraged and needed to provide change.
