Agnes Scott Sustainability Stories: In Conversation with Fayola Waithe

In honor of our September Conference, “Building a Better World: Women and Climate Justice,” we’re hosting conversations with ASC students, faculty, and alumni on Climate Justice. Our event is only three months away! Register for the event here and join us this fall as we work toward Building a Better World.

Fayola Waithe ’22 was Agnes Scott Center for Sustainability’s first-ever environmental justice intern in Fall 2020. She has worked to develop ideas for the partnership between the Center for Sustainability and the Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion. Thanks to her hard work, there will be more specific ways for the campus community to get involved in EJ this upcoming academic year!

Here Fayola discusses the importance of conversation, our biggest challenges, and how she creatively promotes climate justice.

Are you a part of the ASC community and ready to speak on these issues?
